Created to celebrate the 29th anniversary of the One Piece manga, this official Japanese One Piece Card Game promo places Luffy in the heart of the Elbaf era, surrounded by a monumental feast. The illustration captures the character’s appetite, freedom and infectious joy while marking an important moment in the history of Eiichiro Oda’s series.

The card was first released as a physical bonus with Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 33 in Japan. Bandai then announced a Premium Card Collection – 29th Anniversary Edition, introducing a second version of P-159 with an enhanced premium finish.

The result is an unusual anniversary release with two distinct identities: a magazine promo closely tied to Japanese manga culture and a more reflective collector version designed for premium display.

But P-159 is not only visually appealing. Its card effect, strong +2,000 Counter value and direct compatibility with the new red Monkey D. Luffy strategy give it genuine relevance for One Piece Card Game players.
