The AT-AT Driver, known from The Empire Strikes Back (1980), was released by Kenner in 1981 as part of the second series of figures. This Imperial pilot piloted the gigantic AT-AT walkers during the Battle of Hoth and can be recognized by his gray and white armor, red helmet stripes and breathing tube details.

There are several variations of this figure, depending on the production location. The most noticeable differences are:

Helmet details: Variation in the intensity of the red markings and the precision of the paint lines.

Sticker details on the armor: Minor differences in color and alignment.

Made in markings: Figures produced in Hong Kong and Taiwan will have subtle differences in plastic color and finish.
