Luke Skywalker in Jedi Knight outfit was released in 1983 by Kenner to coincide with Return of the Jedi. The figure shows Luke as he appears in Jabba's palace, dressed in a black outfit with a removable cape (in some versions), and armed with a green lightsaber and a blaster.

This was the first time Luke was depicted with his own green lightsaber, which set him apart from previous versions.

Notable variations include:

Lightsaber Color: Early versions sometimes had a blue lightsaber, later replaced with green (as in the film).

Cape: They came with a brown cloth cape; sometimes a lighter shade than the others.

Blaster: A dark gray Palace Blaster was included, sometimes confused with that of other figures.

Face and Hair Color: Variation in hair color from light brown to dark blonde and different face paint applications.

Lili Ledy Variant: The Mexican version has a softer sculpt, glossier plastic, and a shorter, thicker lightsaber.
