Squid Head, one of the lesser known but visually striking characters from Return of the Jedi, was released by Kenner in 1983. He appeared in Jabba the Hutt's palace as a member of his entourage. The figure stands out with his gray skin, tentacle-like face and luxurious outfit, consisting of a soft cloth cape and a rubber skirt.

Squid Head came with a staff and is one of the best dressed figures from the vintage line.

Known variants include:

Cape colors: The cape varies from dark green to brown, depending on the production.

Plastic and Head Sculpt: Slight differences in skin tone and head shape for Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Mexican (Lili Ledy) figures.
