Sy Snootles, the singer of the Max Rebo Band, appeared in 1984 as an action figure in Kenner's Return of the Jedi line. Instead of a separate card figure, she was released as part of a three-pack: the Max Rebo Band Set, together with Max Rebo and Droopy McCool. This set was intended to complete Jabba the Hutt's palace scenes.

Sy is a uniquely designed figure, with her long snout, slender body, and brightly colored dance outfit. She wears a pink top, a feathered headdress (made of plastic) and has a striking microphone stand as an accessory.

Known variants include:

Paint scheme differences: Some Sy figures have slightly brighter colors in the clothing or muzzle.

Headdress and accessories: Variations in plastic type and color of the headdress (light gray to whitish) and microphone stand.

Lili Ledy (Mexico): As far as is known, there is no separate Lili Ledy variant, but there are minor differences in finish between production batches.

Because she was only sold as a set and not individually on card, Sy Snootles is rarer than many other figures from the same period. A complete Max Rebo Band Set with all accessories intact is now a popular collector's item among vintage Star Wars fans.
