The B-Wing Pilot was released in 1984 by Kenner as part of the Return of the Jedi line. He represents the pilot of the heavily armed B-Wing starfighter ship, which first appears during the Battle of Endor. The figure wears a striking red pilot's outfit with gray details and a futuristic helmet, typical of the design style of the B-Wing cockpit.

Unlike other Rebel pilots, the B-Wing Pilot received a unique sculpt with many technical details in the suit, including hoses and equipment, and came with a blue blaster pistol.

Notable variants include:

Helmet and uniform color: There are slight variations in the gray tones of the helmet and vest depending on the country of production (e.g. Hong Kong or Taiwan).

Facial details: Variations in paint application of eyes, eyebrows, and skin color.

Weapon variant: Comes with a blue blaster.

Lili Ledy variant (Mexico): Typically has a lighter orange outfit and different helmet or weapon finish.

Although he doesn’t play a prominent role in the film, the B-Wing Pilot is a collector’s favorite – especially when paired with Kenner’s impressive B-Wing vehicle.
